1 - Fixes and Changes in 6.0.1

LogiQ 6.0.1 is a Service Pack. It is a minor release which only affects a few modules. The current system must be at 6.0.0 to install this service pack. 

To describe the features and fixes included in this Service Pack the following notation is used.

Access Control
Shorten Error Messages to prevent Truncation error.

Dockets
Remove leading zeroes from printed prices. Fix justification of text on docket.

Bookings
Search as per TPOS, that is, you can enter "Smith,J" to list only J Smiths.

Customer
Fix bug whereby program was erroring if an attempt was made to change the amount of a DD adjustment.

Direct Debits
Fix bug whereby transactions were occasionally not written to bank file when there was more than 1 transaction for the same person in the same run.

TPOS
Create new system option to allow capture of Postcodes at sale time.

TPOS
Allow second screen for showing sales to customer.

Customer
Allow Cancellation of Membership when they are Managed by Vendor.

2 - Installation

  1. Please contact techsupport@qvisual.com.au to obtain upgrade files and assistance for carrying out upgrades.

  2. During an upgrade the following steps might be taken (with the assistance of Qvisual Support Staff):


  • Perform a full back up of the live database.

  • Create a new TEST database

  • Test the upgrade on the TEST database

  • Upgrade the LIVE database

  • Upgrade the client workstations

3 - Uninstalling

  1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.

  2. Click Add or Remove Programs.

  3.  Scroll down to "LogiQ 5.9", or some other old version, click on it, and then click Change/Remove.
